What is done with Personal Information
Sponsored petitions. Get Relevant uses the personal information you provide to Get Relevant as part of your selection to register with one of our sponsored petitions or letters in multiple ways. If you register for a sponsored petition, Get Relevant transfers your information to the organization in which sponsored the petition so they can retain your personal information to provide you with the relevant follow-up correspondence related to the issue that caused you to register. As part of your decision to register with one of our sponsored petitions there may be a transfer of your information to a third party in order to process your petition or letter to your legislator, public official, or other individuals who are the targets of the petition or letter. You understand that any personal information you provide while registering for a sponsored petition or letter is being provided to a third party organization and that third party organization is not under the control of Get Relevant/Be Heard so submitting such information is at your discretion.
Get Relevant/Be Heard Emails, Newsletters, & Promotions. Get Relevant/Be Heard uses the personal information you provide to Get Relevant as part of your selection to register with one of our sponsored petitions or letters by sending you future communications via email, mail, or phone correspondence related to other issues or promotions that may interest you. When you register for one of our sponsored petitions or letters your personal information is stored with Get Relevant so Get Relevant can contact you in the future about similar petitions, issues, upcoming news, events, and promotions. All follow-up emails sent will contain a link to unsubscribe should you want to be taken off our list.
